Rochelle has spent approx 20 years working in the real estate industry in administration, advertising and marketing, and gained a lot of valuable experience working with some of the most successful real estate agents on the North Shore in Auckland, Tauranga/Mt Maunganui and Whanganui. These varied roles have equipped her with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and skill, that she draws on in her role as a real estate consultant.
Originally from Auckland, Rochelle developed from an early age an interest in property as her father was a developer and built beautiful quality homes on the North Shore in the East Coast Bays. Lucky enough during her early life to live in some of these properties, Rochelle learned to appreciate the finer details within a home.
Upon leaving school, Rochelle was offered a position within the banking industry, purchased her first home and spent 10 years until her late 20s working through various roles from managing a team of staff through to the banks head office in Auckland City. From there a 4-month overseas experience beckoned (as every Kiwi must do), and upon her return to NZ she landed a role at The New Zealand Herald within the marketing department.
In the early 2000’s Rochelle decided to align her personal interests more with her work, plus wanted to work back on the North Shore to avoid the Auckland City bridge traffic! She started an admin role within a real estate agency and has never looked back.
Rochelle moved to Whanganui for love in May 2012 and is happily married. Her parents and sister and her family have also discovered the wonders of leaving the big city and moving to Whanganui. Rochelle’s husband Tony is a dairy farm manager, and while they currently live in town, the couple have recently purchased a 1ha lifestyle block, wanting to get back to enjoying the benefits and lifestyle they have been used to while living on a farm.
In early 2021, she was part of the original group of four salespeople in Whanganui to join Arizto and establish the brand as a viable alternative in the area.
She has been one of the highest performing agents for Arizto ever since, consistently ranking in the Top 10 of all salespeople nationally, having made key contributions to the growth of the brand locally so that it is now responsible for around one out of every four residential sales by local agents.
Key to this is her tireless work behind the scenes to ensure the real estate process is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for her homeowners.
